Complaints Procedure

Complaints Procedure

We aim to provide the highest possible standard of professional skills and service.

If you are unhappy with any element of our service, including our invoices, you should raise your complaint with the partner with overall responsibility for your file. If your complaint relates to the supervising partner/legal director on your file, it will be passed by that partner to another partner in the firm, who will review the issue and respond to you direct.

When raising your complaint please set this out in writing so that your concerns can be properly investigated.  However, should it be your preference, any member of staff can be contacted by telephone on 0203 824 9950.  We will endeavour to investigate and respond in writing to your complaint within 28 days of receipt.

Legal Ombudsman

If, for any reason, you are unsatisfied with the handling of your complaint about our service or fees, you may contact the Legal Ombudsman for further consideration of the issue. The Legal Ombudsman has been operational since 6 October 2010 and is responsible for ensuring that complaints to solicitors are handled appropriately. You should not contact the Legal Ombudsman before receiving the final response following our internal procedure or following 8 weeks from your initial complaint.
