Emma joined Burgess Mee in 2026 as the firm’s Practice Director.

Emma has over 15 years’ progressive leadership experience gained within boutique law firms, specialising in operational excellence, financial management and organisational transformation.

She has a proven record of scaling operations while managing significant change including office relocation, rebrand and crisis response and is skilled at balancing commercial priorities with people-focused leadership, regulatory compliance and technology innovation.

Emma holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice Management from Manchester Metropolitan University and works closely with the managing partnership team on strategy, finance, technology, marketing, compliance, recruitment and HR, and assists the firm’s Operations Manager with the running of the firm.
